ShowPlayer Pro Documentation
Most of ShowPlayer Pro is meant to be discovered as you use it. If you're new, the Guided Feature Demo on the Add Show screen is the fastest start — it walks you through playback, scenes, and SFX in a real show.
These articles are here for when you want a longer answer: how features fit together, what specific cues do, the workflow that runs through rehearsal and performance. Skim the contents below, jump to anything that catches your eye, or read straight through.
Tap any item with a dark icon to read the article — the rest are coming.

Playback — UI & Events
- Events are listed in sections by type
- Tap any event row to seek to that location and play
- Show/Hide (iPhone only)
- Make quick changes here live
- Limitation: does not reflect changes made on the board directly
3
Event Types
- First locator cue is the song's starting point — can be moved to start the song anywhere
- Other locator cues let you jump to specific points in the song for rehearsal pickups
- Have startTime and endTime
- Used to change timeline flow and follow performers
- Mic toggles set the whole board state at once
- Snippet recall (X32 / M32)
- Audio overlays (in songs), standalone audio (in scenes)
- Auto-cue any MIDI event in scenes for external (OSC) triggers
- Author the board snapshot for each mic-event
- Highlighted = open, dim = muted

Adding/Removing a Scene or Song
- When adding a new item to the playlist, you can select an audio file to create a song instead of a scene
- Audio files (timeline) cannot be added to scenes later
- You can add sound effects to scenes by creating events in a scene

- Tap the + icon at the top right of the mic map to add a channel
- A new channel will be appended to the existing list
- Note that the new channel will default to muted on all existing MidiEvents

- Set the number of channels (1–32)
