9. Children’s Use of the App
The ShowPlayer App is suitable for use by children when supervised by a parent, guardian, teacher, or production staff. Children may use the App, for example, to rehearse their parts or practice cues. The App does not require an account, does not collect personal identifying information, and does not upload user data, making it safe for supervised use in educational or youth theater environments.
In terms of content, the App does not introduce or display any material that is not already part of the licensed show materials. It does not include third‑party advertisements, unrelated media, or external content feeds.
Discretionary use for children should always follow the content and rating of the underlying show. The App is particularly appropriate for youth‑oriented titles (such as Junior or Kids editions of shows). Productions intended for general or adult audiences may include themes or language that are not suitable for children, even though the App itself does not add any external content. It is the responsibility of supervising adults to select appropriate material for young performers.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the App does not request or transmit user data, supervised use by minors is generally low‑risk. If you have concerns about a child’s use of the App or believe a child has provided us with information through a support request, please contact us so we can delete it.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after a revised policy becomes effective means you accept the updated terms.
11. Licensing and Show Rights
Access to shows and materials in the App is tied to your valid licensing agreement with the rights holder. ShowPlayer does not grant performance or usage rights to any show.
For full details on how licensing works with the App, please see our Licensing & Content page.
