Disable AutoFades
ShowPlayer applies brief automatic crossfades when the audio jumps — at song transitions, when seeking via a locator cue, when DEVAMPing out of a loop. AutoFades smooth those moments so the audio never sounds abruptly cut.
The Disable AutoFades toggle turns those automatic crossfades off, making transitions instantaneous.
When to use it
This is a personal preference. Most operators leave AutoFades on. If something about the smoothing bothers you in your show, run a rehearsal with the toggle on and see if you prefer the result.
How to toggle
Open the Settings menu. Disable AutoFades is the second row in the Audio Interface section.
