Thus Kelly's stand up career began when she entered an amateur comedy contest at Hilarities Comedy Club and won. Her comedy became well known throughout the Central Florida area. It was aired late night on the popular local show "Gray Matter".

Comedy Central picked her as one of the top five comedians in the Southeast at the First Annual Florida Comedy Festival Competition presented by Burger King & Comedy Central. This event was hosted by Robert Wuhl.

Eric S. Block, chairman of the festival wrote,"...Your performance was superb, and as the sole woman performer, you more than held your own versus the best male performers."

Kelly also specializes in warming up audiences for such audiences as MTV's Sandblast, Dolly Parton's pilot Heaven's to Betsy, Vin di Bona's World's Funniest Videos and many others. This paved a great road for "The Big Move".

"The Big Move" was from Florida to California where she now resides. It didn't take long before Kelly was scooped up by The Family Channel, warming up crowds for the Family Challenge and hosting their live shows on the weekends at Universal Studios Hollywood.

Currently Kelly is traveling the country hosting TV land's Ultimate Fan Search & Nickelodeon's Gamelab. She lives in Los Angeles where she performs standup in clubs all over.

So, basically , Kelly's career has consisted of sliming kids, smashing pies in people's faces but most importantly, making people laugh.
